Registration in the Specific Sectors Registry

According to the SAT website, registering in the Specific Sectors Importers Registry is an obligation that individuals and legal entities intending to import goods into the national territory must comply with. These goods are listed in the tariff fractions specified in section A of annex 10 of the RGCE for 2018, which include the following:

  2. Radioactive and nuclear substances.
  3. Chemical precursors and essential chemicals.
  4. Firearms and their parts, spare parts, accessories and ammunition.
  5. Explosives and materials related to explosives.
  6. Chemical substances, materials for pyrotechnic uses, and devices related to the use of explosives.
  7. Other weapons and accessories. Edged weapons and accessories. Exploders.
  8. Machines, apparatus, devices, and artifacts related to weapons and others.
  9. Cigarettes
  10. Footwear.
  11. Textile and clothing.
  12. Ethyl alcohol.
  13. Hydrocarbons.
  14. Steel.
  15. Steel products.
  16. Automotive.

Requirements:

  1. Being registered and active in the Importers Registry.
  2. Comply with the requirements provided in form 6/LA Instruction for the registrations on the Specific Sectors Importers Registry (rule 1.3.2, first paragraph).
